Elementary Literacy
Our literacy curriculum for young elementary students is firmly grounded in Science of Reading research but takes a joyful creative approach to reading and writing. Students create a picture book to tell a story from their own lives.
Secondary Literacy
Our secondary literacy program is an innovative approach to developing advanced reading and writing skills. Students write about their lives and create a published student anthology.
English Learners
Our program for English Learners provides the scaffolding and reinforcement for students to overcome language barriers and unleash their writing skills and creativity. Students create a graphic novel where they are the main character and their life becomes the adventure.
Reading Enrichment
Our reading enrichment program is tailored to help students build strong comprehension skills and develop a lifelong love for reading. We use engaging activities and literature to nurture a deep appreciation for the written word.
Poetry Workshop
Explore the world of poetry in our interactive workshops. Students will learn about various forms of poetry and experiment with language, rhythm, and imagery to create their own poetic masterpieces.
Debate
Join in debates and sharpen your critical thinking and public speaking skills. We provide a platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions and develop persuasive arguments.
Youth Participatory Action Research
Use your voice to change the world. Students will have the opportunity to explore issues that matter to them and that impact their community. They will formulate a plan to research and cooperatively tackle issues that are important.
